Feeding Guide:
For normal health maintenance or for horses and ponies in low to medium work: 100g of Omega Chaff per 100kg of bodyweight.
A 500kg horse would be fed 500g of Omega Chaff per day (less than 2 Stubbs Scoops).
For normal health maintenance or for horses and ponies in low to medium work: 100g of Omega Chaff per 100kg of bodyweight.
A 500kg horse would be fed 500g of Omega Chaff per day (less than 2 Stubbs Scoops).
For horses and ponies in harder work or those which require an increase in healthy body condition: 200g of Omega Chaff per 100kg of bodyweight.
A 500kg horse would be fed 1kg of Omega Chaff per day (just over 3 Stubbs Scoops).
Any dietary changes should be made gradually over a minimum of 7 days. Always provide fresh, clean water. Combine with forage/fibre totalling 1.5%-2% of the horses bodyweight daily. Feeding rates above are a guide only. One stubbs scoop holds 300g of Omega Chaff.
